Title: Your Fake Name Is Good Enough For Me (6/?)
Author: Adela
Disclaimer: Not mine. Everyone else's but mine. Also, some of the characters mentioned in passing and the Cardassian background are taken from Andrew J. Robinson' amazing Garak novel, A Stitch In Time.
Fandom: Inception/Star Trek (DS9 era) crossover. Knowledge of Trek universe not necessary.
Pairings/Characters: Arthur/Eames, Garak
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: in this part, mostly just angst
Summary: Arthur is actually an alien (Cardassian) spy disguised as a human and sent to 24th century Earth. Unfortunately, he gets thrown through a temporal anomaly and lands in the 21st century.
In this part, DS9's resident Cardassian spy Elim Garak has a few things to say, Ariadne finds herself in a familiar situation and doesn't like it one bit, Eames is not in Mombasa, and Arthur is in a pretty bad state. (I promise you a much, much more devious!badass!Arthur in episodes to come.)

Even if it was just a projection, he wanted to hear his voice saying that he understood, that he believed him, that he wasn’t afraid.

character: arthur, character: ariadne, pairing: arthur/eames
