(no subject)
Hoo boy. Okay. Deirdre has just posted a perhaps overly-long journal entry. I blame my...ahem, her sleepless brain. Sorry. I plan on continuing updates with progress in that arena--hopefully, it'll accomplish something informative concerning what that girl actually does at work! Besides spinning around happily in her ergonomic chair, weaving daisy chains, and terrorizing orderlies, that is. Obviously.
In other news: I am leaving for college on the 19th (GAH!). This massive life-shift involves me packing up all of my stuff and transporting it (somehow) three thousand miles. When I make it to NY, I'll be in the city, possibly sans-internet access (except for the occasional floating wireless cloud available for mooching) for nearly a week. After that, I will be thrown completely into a crazy week of orientation, in which I will be interviewing my teachers, meeting fellow classmates, and generally attempting to settle in. Ah, life.
In short: I may be very scarce for the next week or two. I will do my absolute best to update and reply, but I must beg your forgiveness for my impending slowness/absence! :: begs ::
