Already people have improvised their versions of his totem in fic, but what do you think it would be?

I honestly believe Eames doesn't believe in/need a totem. He struck me as the one most rooted to the real world out of the whole crew.

He probably carries one, but nearly never consults it. My thought is a lighter, so he can actually use it for something besides checking up on his reality.

I kind of assumed it was one of his fake chips. He looks at them when Cobb randomly shows up in Mombasa.

Hmm. I think it might be. Though I want to believe its something totally batshit random like a chicken bone or a miniature glass pig.

The loaded die was random on Arthur's part. NOT TO MENTION, IF YOU SHIP ARTHUR/EAMES, DIE AND CHIP GO TOGETHER LIKE A STAG AND DOE PATRONUS OH MY GOD I'LL STOP.

Most totems are random. Top? Chess piece? I do wonder what Cobb's was originally.

LOL PROBABLY SOMETHING SUPER WEIRD. There needs to be some people writing pre-movie fics about his previous totem.

I swear to God, Nolan gave us such a field day with hidden quirks about Eames and Arthur.

Also, you can seem him running one through his fingers when he's sitting listening to Cobb talk while they're planning the job.

Late reply, but I have this horrible/wonderful vision of someone writing a fic based on this idea. I can just picture Eames saying, "MY BODY IS MY TOTEM. I MUST TOUCH IT ALL THE TIME. TO, YOU KNOW, MAKE SURE THIS IS REALITY. RIGHT, GUYS?"

This is why I can't have nice things. :(
