Answering my own questions, whee.
1. I've seen the movie twice and was completely mortified at some of the details I got wrong in what I had written. I wish that anons could edit.
2. I have a lot of varying opinions on the ending. Part of me thinks it's real because you can hear the top fall after the screen cuts to black. Part of me thinks Miles tutored Ariadne into convincing Cobb to come back to reality. Part of me thinks thinks worked out too perfectly--and questions how Cobb and Saito came back from limbo.
3. I rock out to Zimmer more than should be legal. "Time" is my favorite at the moment with "Mombasa" was the track I use while driving on the highway, pretending I'm a spy.
4. I don't know. I really don't know. *le sigh*
5. Mal was awesome. She doesn't even seem like an antagonist to me. She does horrible things, yell at Ariadne, shoot Arthur, kill Fischer and fuck with her husband's head...but she wasn't malicious(oh the irony). She truly believed that she was in a coma somewhere and her children are waiting for her to come back. She truly believed that Cobb should stay with her. I've never felt the way I felt about her about a villain. Very sympathetic.
