Psychology
Introvert/Extrovert A bit of both. Harry is naturally an extrovert, but due to his difficult start in life and all the things that have happened to him, he's learned to turn inward with his thoughts and feelings often. He learned this in times when there was no one else to turn to. When he does need to talk, he tends to confide in his best mates, Ron and Hermione, and Ginny as well. He walks the line between the two.
Boggart is? Explain. PLEASE NOTE: A Boggart assumes the shape of a *creature* or physical object. This is not the same as a Dementor Effect - it cannot be something vague like 'loneliness' or 'sadness' or 'darkness'. It must have shape and form. Harry's boggart has changed, which Remus observes in "Prisoner of Azkaban" is healthy because it indicates that Harry has a fear of nothing in particular, but of fear itself. Currently, though, his boggart would be himself, becoming Voldemort. He's had concerns about it in the past, and they manifested themselves as a fear.
Patronus--can they produce one? What is it and why does it have that form? Again, please note, as per canon - a Patronus is a *creature* of some kind. We have been very flexibe as to allow fictional creatures to be Patronuses, but it cannot be an inanimate object. A Beater's Bat cannot be a Patronus. Prongs, a large stag. It is the image of his Father's animagus form, and was first manifested in his third year at Hogwarts.

Personality
Include strengths, weaknesses, quirks, general outlook on life.
Harry is a strong individual, to say the least. He's survived severe abuse and neglect at the hands of the Dursleys, his parents death, being introduced into the Wizarding world as a celebraty and growing into his destiny. Through all those things, he's had to do more than survive, he's had to thrive. Harry is a survivor. Now that Voldemort has been defeated, he's struggling a bit to find purpose in his life since so much of his life centered around it. He looks at life as a struggle, as it has been for him, but one that he's determined to overcome. He tackles every challenge as it comes, but sometimes he just gets tired and needs to retreat into his own mind. He's stubborn as hell and proud beyond all reason. If Harry has a definate quirk, that's it. He's so stubborn that he rarely asks for help, direction, anything from anyone, really, and generally waits until the situation has become so dire that assistance is required for him to save himself, particularly in the area of emotional support.

Family
Parents? James and Lily Potter, both deceased.
Siblings?None related by blood, though he's as close as can be to Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger without sharing blood with them, as well as being an "honorary Weasley"
Family dynamics--do they get along? Opposite sides of the war? Accept their child's magical talent? Pressure for 'pure blood' marriage? That's not really an issue for Harry!

Lifestyle
Occupation: Trying to finish up his education after leaving Hogwarts in search of Voldemort. He wants to be an Auror, and has secured lessons from various professors in his quest to become one.
Residence: A small flat in London that he purchased with the savings his parents left him
Financial Status: Quite wealthy, courtesy of his inheritence from his parents and his Godfather, Sirius Black.

History from student days at Hogwarts to the present time: include any affiliations since Hogwarts, jobs, family life, significant events in the character's recent history, how was this character affected by the war, how does your character feel about the present political climate?

Once Harry left school and finished things with Voldemort, he ended up living in his flat with Draco, Hermione and Ron. After a while, they realized it wasn't working and all went their separate ways, except for he and Hermione who still live together as friends. He attempted to date Ginny Weasley twice, but it failed both times. Now he's somewhat resigned that it won't work, though he's not adverse to attempting again, as he genuinely cares for her. He still maintains friendships with many of his fellow Order members, and is very politically active. He has a definate dislike of the Ministry currently, and has been at the helm for several rallies concerning werewolf rights and the impeachment of the current Minister of Magic. He even returned his metal of honour given by the Ministry in protest of their policies.

How does he/she feel about the more infamous events and people in the world around him/her? Harry Potter and his victory over Voldemort? Dumbledore and his murder by Severus Snape? Lucius Malfoy's pardon and book publication? Snape's pardon and appointment back to his old job at Hogwarts? The Registry? Werewolf Remus Lupin's job at Hogwarts? Bellatrix' capture, insanity defence, followed by her "cure" and release from St. Mungo's? etc.

Harry has had an extremely difficult time dealing with Snape's murder of Dumbledore, and his subsequent relationship with Remus Lupin, Harry's only surviving connection to his Parents and his Godfather. He struggles with it constantly, and while he doesn't like the relationship, he doesn't want to loose his friendship with Remus. He isn't quiet about his dislike, but he's also learning, slowly, to live with it. As for the pardon of Malfoy and Bellatrix's release, Harry feels like those things make a mockery of his parents' death, of Sirius's death and all the work that he did. He feels those things make a mockery of everything he and his friends and family fought, and died, for. As for the Registry, he's had himself added to it in protest in order to demonstrate the insanity that it is.

What plots would you like to pursue with this character? What short and long-term goals does the character have for his/her future?
I'd like to continue Harry's pursuit of impeachment for the Minister and his working to get the collars eliminated for both werewolves and former Death Eaters. The former would be free to live, of course, and the latter would be sent straight back to Azkaban if he had his way. Also, perhaps finding a decent relationship that might work out for him, and strengthening his relationship with Ron and Hermione, who've been a bit distant. Also, he'd like to reconnect with Luna and some of his other former classmates. He'll be working to finish his education and testing to become an auror in training.

Once you start playing the game and get a feel for your fellow players and characters, assuming the interaction is favourable, how long could you anticipate staying with this character and this game? What is your usual pattern of longevity in role-playing games?
I'm usually around, even on busy weeks I'm on often. I've played Charlie for upwards of 6 months now, with very few LoAs and I'm always one to stick with a game if I can.

What is your usual pattern of availabilty and play-time for a character and game which you enjoy?
I'm available most nights, with the rare exception, and many afternoons. I'm usually reachable fairly easily.

Now that we've got a sense of your characterization, this is where you get to really showcase your writing style! Give us everything you've got! Remember--this sample must be a 'fresh' sample relevant to our game and the current setting.

Sample Journal Entry:
So today Professor Lupin... Remus... asked me to stand up with him at his bonding. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I mean, if he was marrying someone respectable, I could see it. But Severus Snape? That's nearly too much to stomach. Maybe Snape isn't the worst thing in the world, but seriously, can he actually love him? I just don't see how. I guess it's not up to me to say who can love who, but what the hell? I can't believe they're doing this. I guess that Prof Remus is a grown man, but I can't help thinking that marrying Snape is betraying Sirius and my Dad. They hated him, and I just can't believe my Da would hate anyone without a reason. Sirius? Maybe. Definately. He wasn't a saint. I know my Dad wasn't either, but I just can't imagine why he'd hate someone who didn't deserve it. Doesn't even matter what Snape did to me... or Professor Dumbledore, because Remus doesn't know half of that. But he knows everything that happened with Snape back then. I just can't see how Remus could love someone without a heart. But... if he really does love him, maybe I have to stand up with him? I don't want to loose his friendship.

Sample Third Person Writing:
Harry sat, staring at the books before him. His eyes were bleary and he could barely remember what it was he was supposed to be studying. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, looking at the muggle watch that he'd gotten for his birthday the year before. Half three already? He felt overwhelmed and let his head fall to the table, coming to rest on his book. Why was this so much easier when he was in school? Oh, that's right, because he didn't have his mates here with him, cheering him on and sharing his plight. He raised his head slowly, removing his glasses from his face and rubbing his eyes. Oh, how he hated Charms right now. Normally a favourite class was now his adversary, his reason for not sleeping. But he had to keep at it. He needed to finish this. He needed to do something with his life. He couldn't stand himself just sitting about the house. Yes, he was planning rallies, seeing mates. But what had he done lately that actually meant something? He'd spent most of his life in the fight against Voldemort and now that he was gone, he had to do something of consequence. He stood, stretching for a minute, letting the blood flow, then tucked back into the book again. After all, he had a test tomorrow, and he was determined to earn a good mark.
