I wonder if somebody could send me the Rebellion!verse by jeannedecarnin, but also other stories written by her would be welcome!
Arthur and Eames sleep together for the first time after a bad job in Mombasa. Neither of them forgets.
They part in transit, at the end of a long metal travellator with sides of gleaming glass, their faces greyed out by the timeless, shadowless light of airports. Arthur has a garment bag slung over his arm and blankness in his eyes like a veil over darkness. Eames thinks: Give me something, you heartless bastard. He wants to reach out and touch the bruise on the jaw where he has marked Arthur that morning, hear the low hiss and the hitch in Arthur’s breath, fingers twisting into hotel sheets.
Neither speaks.
I've searched for it but it seems to be deleted. I would love to read it and would be soo grateful!
