arthur/eames; eames does a runner after arthur says i love you
Hi all,
I'm looking for a specific fic where Eames and Arthur were together in the past, but after Arthur said 'I love you' the first time, he wakes up the next morning to find that Eames had left without saying anything. I'm not sure, but the fic itself begins years after that incident, with Arthur being shot irl and bleeding out. Eames is freaking out, and I think Arthur says something really sad and bitter about how he knew Eames just couldn't love him?? And I think Cobb got really protective too and didn't want Eames visiting Arthur in the hospital.
Anyway, that's about what I remember. Aside from that one specifically though, I would love to read other fics where Eames hurts Arthur because he just can't commit. I'd also really like fics where Cobb gets protective of Arthur and threatens Eames away.
