FOUND: Two fics: famous!Eames roadtrip and Eames having trouble dreaming too much
I am looking for two fics that I read ages ago and my memories of them are hazy, so forgive any vagueness.
#1: Eames is famous. I think he is an actor, but he could be something else. He has run off for some reason and meets Arthur who is a barrista. Then somehow they end up on a road trip across the U.S. Arthur is pretty outdoorsy. Eames is not. Ariadne is Arthur's sister.
#2: Eames is really wan and weak and out of it when he shows up for a job. Arthur spies on him and realizes he has been going under for really long periods of time on his own. He finds out that Eames has built a whole town where he is spending all his time dreaming. Arthur watches him and discovers that in Eames' dream he has a projection of Arthur as his roommate. Arthur replaces the projection of himself for short periods. I think he bakes a cake for some reason. I have no memory of what happens after that.
