FOUND [Fic Search] Arthur/Eames, first meeting, underage Arthur and how Arthur got his totem
I could kick myself. Normally I'm perfectly capable of finding fic on my own but this was probably one of the first that I'd read in this fandom and I have no clue where.
FOUND, thanks to green_postit. It's Vielle Âme and its sequel.
1: Mal is teenaged!Arthur's cousin (or similiar) and he lives with her and Dom after his parents die. This is NOT from the Birthday Boy set as it is fairly well canon compliant. He speaks French to her (and her mother).
2: It's Eames POV. He shows up in...fall? And he stays for a while.
3: Eames promises to take Arthur under for the first time after Arthur's birthday--he doesn't show but sends Arthur a loaded die. When he returns later, Arthur calls him on it.
4: Obviously there is sexual tension. And at least one cigarette out on the Cobb's front porch.
5: I'm pretty sure Cobb's mother in law doesn't like him. But she does like Eames?
6: Philippa is a baby in this story.
7: Arthur is serious and self-confident, as far as teenagers go, instead of nervous or unsure. He's even a bit solemn but pretty forthcoming when Eames asks him things.
...yeah, I am so full of details about this fic.
