[It would be a pretty view. Galbadia Garden soaring over a forest on a sunny day. Only... it's flying awfully close to the tops of the trees - close enough to knock a few of the smaller branches loose as it passes. And on second look there's a veritable profusion of launch ramps near where Seifer's standing, presumably to launch the motorcycles at the oncoming Balamb Garden.

They don't know what they're going to be facing. Unprepared in the face of Galbadia and her Sorceress. Seifer knows this and he's almost reveling in the fact.
