Not just him. Everyone. The only reason to be scared is if you know someone's going to hurt you. But he didn't know what people from our world are like, so maybe that's why he was surprised when he saw what we are.

He's... Well, he's definitely got his reasons, but that doesn't mean I share all his views or approve of the way he expresses them. I'll be trying to keep an eye on how he is with people here after what happened.

What being a 'normal human' means in our world is different from other people's. We're two that make up one whole. He thought we were a weapon.

Hmm... I see now. I'm sorry if he was rude to you, or threatened you... or... scared you somehow. Really, he's not as cold as he makes himself out to be.

That's good to hear. I still wish I'd gotten to him a little sooner. I may have been able to prevent unnecessary conflict before it began.

You shouldn'nt get upset over stuff like that. You can't change what happened, you should just learn from it.

I guess you're right about that, but I can't help it. I worry about him and how he is with other people sometimes. Can't really shift it.

It seems an easy thing for certain people to do.

It doesn't seem much like back home, no. I'm sure we'll adjust to it somehow though... The culture shock might be good for both of us. I promise I'm usually a lot more cheerful than this, it's just been a draining couple of days.
