003. video/action for violet
[Oh gosh, guys. Aradia wants to record this momentous occasion! Her baby egg is hatching and this is so exciting. The 'Gear is set up a little ways from the egg and Aradia is crouching near it watching, the shell chip and push away to reveal a REALLY big nose that just... settles there sniffing at the air for almost a full minute.]
Um...
[She reaches forward to poke at it, prompting a long snooooooooort before the egg flops forward-- rather backwards, really --with a rather big pink beast resting on its back and staring up.]
Slooooooooooooooowpoke...!
[Oh dear, what is this thing. Aradia pulls up her Pokedex and lets it run its thing...]
Slowpoke-- The Dopey Pokemon. It is always vacantly lost in thought, but no one knows what it is thinking about. It is good at fishing with its tail.
Slowpoke?
[She smiles and pulls the 'Gear up.]
It would appear that my egg has hatched into a "Slowpoke". It's not quite what I thought it would become, but I think it will be a wonderful addition to my team!
[A beat and she remembers before setting the 'Gear back down.]
--Sollux, I have arrived in Violet City as you instructed. I have a traveling party at the moment and I am not really going to be quick to leave. There are some things that I want to explore before we move on. If you want to visit, though, I would be glad to see you again.
SLOW!
--Oof!!
[A flash of pink invades the screen as Mister Slowpoke promptly tackles his mother, making her throw the 'Gear to give a perfect view of her in a pile of Slowpoke who is happily chewing on her hair until the feed times out.]
Um...
