when you clean something such as a kitchen for a group of seven people, you expect to be appriciated. You hope for maybe a thank you for the hours of scrubbing you put into cleaning someone else's mess off the stove, and for doing the pile of dishes only God knows how long have been sitting in the sink. I myself have been away from home for a week, on holiday in Norway, and I come home to find the kitchen in shambles. There is dirty garbage all over the counter as well as dishes lining the room. I also noticed that quite a few dishes were missing, which only means that they are dirty hiding in someone's room. I however still need to cook and eat, and the state the kitchen is in don't want to touch anything, so after a day, I go grab my rubber gloves and get to work. I scrub the stove and counters clean, do all of the dishes and remove all the nasty things from the sink. But no one will even appriciate it. The girls I live with are all tidy, and will think that the kitchen was like that the whole time they were gone, while the boys will just dirty it again and expect someone to clean it for them. Is it really that hard to do the few dishes you dirty right after you eat??

As I said earlier, I just got back from holiday. I went up to London for a day to visit my ex, which was nice, but why did he have to look so good?? I couldn't help but notice how nice he looked, however, when I was talking to him I remembered why we weren't together anymore.... but that doesn't change the fact that he looked good.

I then visited Norway, and my family over there.... imagine spending a week with people you barely know other that they are from the same family as you, and not being able to understand anything that they say... It's not the greatest of experiences... but none the less I had fun, I went skiing, went in a boat out on the sea, and just lounged around, I do have to say it was better than sitting in my flat all by myself for a week.

I think I'm going to go to bed now...
