I've obtained additional quotes, from Geico, Allstate and Progressive.
Allstate offers various plans with the same level of coverage. The more expensive plans have accident forgiveness (which means if you have an accident, your rates won't go up) and deductible rewards (which means for each year you are with them, your collision deductible goes down $100). For the platinum plan, I was quoted $615 for six months, but there's a safe driving bonus of 5% back at your renewal if you have no accidents, which would make it $584. The least expensive plan has no special perks. This was quoted at $525 for six months.
Progressive was the next least expensive, at $629 for six months. That's still more expensive than Allstate's most expensive plan.
I'm going to get more quotes before I decide, but I'm rather pleased that the more quotes I get, the lower the rates.
