HAIL!!!
I've lived in So. Cal. for about 18 of the 22 years I've been in this country, and I don't recall this ever happening before:
At about 5am today, I was woken up by a couple of cracks of thiunder, followed by the sound of what I thought was unusually heavy rain hitting my roof. But in a couple of minutes, it became louder and louder, and was impossible to sleep through, so I wandered downstairs and opened the door to see what was going on, and this is what I saw:
Now it's raining, pretty heavily, and the hail has almost gone. SO - just goes to show you that it's not always sunny Southern California....
Thank goodness I have a garage to protect my new silver baby...
--And now I'm wide awake at 5:30am - grrr!
