What to wear....or What not to wear?

My fellow fashion mavens, I am going to the city this weekend & am trying to decide what to wear. It's pride, and I need to be lookin' my finest. Jeans? No jeans? I probably will be bypassing the skirt/dress thing. I'll play up the cleavage, of course

Even though I wear jeans and cute sneakers most days, on Pride, I wear a dress usually. This year, I bought an awesome halter dress from H&M. Magenta. Does good things to the girls...

However, last year, I wore jeans, rolled up a bit (as was the fashion at the time) and a really super cute and low-cut blouse from Banana Republic and cute kitten heel shoes.

I think the key is, how will you be comfortable? I know for me that, surrounded by all those dykes, I feel more comfortable the more dressed up I am. I don't want to fade into the background, gawd forbid. :) I remember when I lived south of SF and came into the city, I always felt underdressed. So I always overdressed to compensate...

So basically, I don't now what you should wear, but that's my experience. :)

I just came home from getting my nails done for pride :) I've been all sorts of girly girl lately. I also dress cute or in costume (striped socks, wig) for street festivals/parades.
