Free time? What is free time?
So much has been going on lately. I have to say it's been a bit crazy! Last week we finally got all of my stuff over to Allison's. I am officially a resident of Irving now. I think I'm gonna like it there. ;)
We were really happy we got to get all the moving done by Saturday afternoon (thanks Jose!) so we could go to a crawfish boil that Jeremy and Sonia invited us to. That was such a blast! It's second only to the mall for prime people-watching atmosphere. This year we got there early enough to actually have some crawfish - which was scrumtious I might add. Oh, and of course we all grazed on hot dogs and bbq and cookies and the sort as well. Thanks again for the invite! Apparently we left just before some of the adults had had enough to drink that they started to act like children. So that was good timing. I'm too old for all of that hullaballoo! (Whoop!)
Lets see - Allison and I spent some time getting things organized around the house on Sunday (although it's no where NEAR where it needs to be - but all in good time!). Did some grocery shopping, grilled some awesome fajitas, and pretty much did some much needed chillin'. We finished the invitations and got them out this week, and picked up my ring and picked out hers. Getting tuxes next week...slowly but surely everything is falling into place. Some people have told me that get ready to hold on because the last month will be a blur. I think the blur has already started!

We had an intern start last week - and this was his first full week for me to have to keep him busy, which I have to admit is a little more difficult than I had originally foreseen. Right now he's new, so he's chomping through work like armageddon, but between myself a few others he's been staying busy. And learning too, which I guess is a good thing. I've always been a trainer at my (not so much lesser, but just different) jobs - waiting tables, bartending, etc. so this isn't entirely new. Just gotta remember how it was when you didn't know jack either. Or before you could act like you knew jack. I digress.

There are a few parties around town we've been invited to, but none that I think we'll make. Shane is having a get together at his place in Hickory Creek on Sunday, and Jarrod and his wife are having a get together in Colleyville on Saturday. Both involve pools... Allison has to go in this weekend for a little bit (last weekend until August that she has to work on!!), and my parents are coming over to give me some pictures to look through (for the wedding reception show), and then we'll probably go eat somewhere. I have a ton of errands to run, plus a ton of boxes to go through. I plan on hanging with Ryan though on Sunday - get the guitars warmed up, maybe some pool or grilling too. We'll have to see. Should be a good time.
