My legs hurt so bad right now.

Since Allison was in town this past weekend - and we had so much fun at Alicia's party - I've had like 1.5 drinks since Friday night, which is totally not like me. But anyways, I figured I would capitalize on the lower caloric intake than normal on the weekends and get crazy with the cardio...went and did a nice workout on Sunday, then had one more doctors appointment (for a little infection I had last week that I never mentioned, but it turned out to be nothing, although it did hurt like quite the little bitch!), which took forever, and I barely made it to the gym last night for a spin class. (And keep in mind I haven't done a spin class in probably a year...). Well, still feeling ambitious, I did a high rep/low weight chest and back workout yesterday, then straight to a step class (a normal class I've been doing, as of lately). Well, needless to say I won't be doing any cardio (especially with my legs) this afternoon - I've got a nice arms/shoulders workout planned and then off to do some cleaning and schtuff while the Joser is visiting W (read: visiting DC/Alexandria for a wedding)...so yeah. I'm tired.

My acoustid guitar has been sounding very sad and stagnant for a while now, so I finally decided to change all 6 strings, something I don't normally do. I normally just change the ones that look dirty and/or pop. I haven't popped a string in a while, so I figured it was time. And MAN, was it time. It's like playing a completely different instrument!!! Yea. Looking forward to reacquainting myself with my little stringed friend...

Allison will be in town Friday - we are doing the Dash Down Greenville 5k. This will be the 4th time...it's always such a blast. I always get a kick outta getting a few miles in, and then getting a little tipsy on the beer of green persuasion! :) This year we're meeting up with J and S (and E?) and few others....I think we might be backing up J's truck to the parade route this year, instead of hanging out by Two Rows and watching from inside the fence...

Very much looking forward to it! Which brings me full circle back to exercise...no cardio tonight, run 3 miles on the treadmill on Thursday...then rest on Friday for Saturday morning.

Good, real good.
