Woah is me.
Well, before I get too behind...
This past weekend was a blast, but it also sucked too. I went to Dara and David's house up in Lewisville (yes, I actually drove!), and Alicia and her brother Paul showed up later on, and we drank quite a bit of beer and played some 42 and Texas Hold 'em on this cool little foldout poker felt cover thing. (If that makes sense.) We had such a riot!
Well, I had decided that I would go and participate in a coworkers' flag football game - well, actually her husband's. So - I spent the night in Lewisville, so I could get up and do that the next morning, since the game was going to be in Flower Mound, which is right next door...
After the game (I scored the last touchdown, of course! jk - but yeah, I did) we went back to their house and ate sandwiches and watched the football game, and had a few beers...
As the afternoon went on, I was feeling a little sore. Not too bad, but definitely feeling it. I watched a little tv, talked to Allison for a second or two, and just rested. I had made plans to see 1100 Springs with Dara and David at the Granada that evening. Well, by the time it got to the evening, I had to cancel those plans because I could barely walk around. It was so pitiful, I'm tellin' ya! I had to take a Vicoden.
Well, I had told D and D that if after the show, if they found a quiet patio to sit on and have a few beers, I would join them. Well, it was almost midnight, so I had kinda figured they went home, so I turned off my light and settled my ass in to go to sleep, when...RING!!! It was Dara, and sounding like she was having a GOOD time! LOL It is very funny to be completely sober and get a call from someone who is not quite...haha.
Anyways, they dropped by, and I drove us to Shuck N Jive, and we had a bite to eat and split a couple of pitchers. Just shot the shit and all of that...good times, though, good times!
Sunday I was absolutely miserable. I only left my bed to go to the grocery store, do a couple of loads of laundry. All I could do was moan and groan. So funny - although talking to Kara today - she says her husband and all of the other guys are the same way!!! LOL
Yesterday was Pluckers' anniversay, so Jose and I met Shane, Jennifer, and Brian up there for $1 beers and 25 cent wings. It got crazy crowded!
Everyone got a little inebriated (except for Brian since he drank iced tea the whole time) and quite full.
So - I am a little tired today.
My legs and butt are still a little sore, so I think I'll go to the gym and do a good upper body workout to even it all out...
I think I'll be taking the elevator up to the third floor - the third floor that is the entrance to the gym. (Actually the fourth - 'cause the parking garage is below...)

Oh - and I finally got my first $10 Pluckers gift certificate on my card... :)
