The real world hits CRASH! BOOM! KABLAMO!

I got my car serviced today because there were several things that needed fixing. End result: $403.57. Ouch. It was pulling all weird and vibrating at highway speeds because the belt on a tire was off. The headlights needed to be realigned because they had a lazy eye. An oil change was due after 3000 miles. The service engine light went on at random and it was $100 to go into the car computer; it was just a slightly leaky fuel cap that got loose for no apparent reason. So that had to be replaced. I'm hurting right now... that's a bit less than a week's worth of work after all the deductions. But, on the bright side, I can drive straight without fighting my wheel AND I probably won't die next time I'm on the highway. So, it's probably worth it? Impetuous purchases are delayed until I recover from this.

I'm getting frustrated by work because I keep running appointments with people that want to buy from me but can't. Should certain deals pull through, due to the size of the companies, I'm going to lose two clients. I don't have that many to start with, so that sucks. One I loose because, even though they operate independently until January, they were bought by a company of several thousand employees. The other I lose because the owner owns three companies. I ran the appointment for the company I CAN sell to, but he wants to buy for the company that's too small for me to sell to. And, if they're all added together, they're too Big for me to sell to! Agh! I'm really looking forward to making a sale that I can actually keep. Especially because I'm on a quota this month. I'm not going to hit my second bonus (I got the first one!), I think, because I'm not on pace for it with appointments completed. Top it off with me feeling completely exhausted all the time. Will my eyes ever lose their too dark omnipresent circles? Maybe it's a vitamin deficiency. All of this is boring to you, I bet. Sorry. I needed to work vent.

You know what's funny? These things: giant walking bananas, Cleopatra playing football, a biker chick making out with the wicked witch of the west, and a So-Co Jamaican angel flapping both arms and wings around a bar. Man, I love Halloween.

This weekend, I've somehow agreed to go to Wausau. That'll be a lot of driving, but the end reward is a beer tasting on Saturday. There'll be 80 different types to try. Time to get the game face on..... yes, that's slack-jawed and vacant-eyed enough.

Dear lord, please let me be more energized and make it to the weekend in one piece.
