So if the desktop from your dad doesn't work with it, keep an eye out for sales on desktops and pick one up. expecially if you're considering playing other games on it, you'll want something that will be able to handle those other games as well.
Nora, I'm going to try to go through my comp and figure out what games I do have from you guys. Would you and Brian be able to make copies of those for me and perhaps as he finds game codes online for them write them directly on the disc with the name?

I'm not against using my laptop at all, it's just that it would be kind of nice to start fresh. The laptop is 4 years old and you know how quickly they get outdated.
Of course, this computer still serves me very well. It just doesn't work with half the games I'm interested in. Morrowind and Baldurs Gate worked, but not evil Alice (I'm still waiting for my PC to work with it) or WoW! ::sniffle::
So now, my Sunday is spent fretting over computers. gah!

I'm told it's hard to change a laptop's videocard. But, if it can be done, I think the rest of my system would be up to speed. maybe.
