I have to be honest with everyone...that was the best birthday I've ever had. I want to thank everyone for being so sneaky and doing all of that for me. Andy, thank you, especially for what you did. Everyone was so good to me...and for the first time, it didn't rain on my birthday. Jason I'm sorry that I missed you at Waffle House last night. They told me that you were there. I was sad. :-( We will have to remedy this...
The day started out late...almost missed my bus for tech. school. I ran up to it, walked up the steps and heard "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMY!!!" from everyone on the bus. We had a party in my first block. Second block my teacher told me that he would help me get a better job. Then, we drove back to Daphne. When I got back to school, I found my favorite flowers (daffodils) in my locker with a card. They were from the Andy-man. Third and fourth blocks were just normal like every other day. When I got to Andy's car at the end of the day, there was another present sitting in the seat for me. It was the National Geographic's Greatest Photographs book that I had wanted so long ago. From Andy, again. :-) Then when I got home I waited around a bit then went to pick up Brittany. Went to Wal-mart where Brittany got my gift while I was in another section of the store. Then went back to my house to wait for dinner. For dinner we went to Wings and ate an ass-load. They sung to me...yes, they did...was tragic. After that I went home and packed up to spend the night with Brittany. Mom said she would take me but ended up "missing her neighborhood" and we stopped at Daphne Middle school where Andy was waiting with a telescope. There, he handed me the star that he had registered for me, which I named Arianna. We saw a shooting star and then we headed to "Brittany's house" again. He "missed." His explanation was, "you said you were hungry, right?" We ended up at Waffle House where all my Rave buddies happened to be sitting with a sign that said "Happy 17th Birthday Amy" hanging off the side of their table. They all signed that for me after I blew out my candle and got sang to again and ate my cupcake. Then we FINALLY got to Brittany's house...for real this time...no one tricked me this time.
So it was a damned good birthday. Thank you, everyone.
