At some point on or after Thursday, a weathered-looking raven circled the sky near Susan before coming in and landing as closely as he could. There was an equally-tired scroll attached to his leg, bearing the waxy seal of a dragon and a gold ribbon.

Inside, written in light, formal calligraphy, was a letter from Dany.

To Susan,

I sincerely hope that this letter finds you in good heath and happy countenance, or at least, your approximation thereof. I have been wandering the Red Waste with my khalasar for weeks on end, and only now have I arrived at the gates of Qarth, one of the Free Cities. We are safe for the time being, and have the resources to send and receive correspondence.

How is life in Fandom? Have I missed the pleasures of being turned into a toddler or frog, or something more mundane, such as vines made of candy covering the dorms? I long for the days when such annoyances were the greatest of my woes - we lost several in the Waste, and are still recovering from our journey.

Please send the raven back with your reply if it pleases you. He'll want a drink and something to eat, if you can accommodate him. He may bite, otherwise.
