(no subject)
Well my weekend was pretty amazing. Went to pub fiction and poison girl with Dash and N on Friday… Both are awesome and completely different from one another. Then Saturday N and I had lunch with the ‘rents. He had them in stitches (wow, I really just did say that -“Hi, I’m Jill and I’m 50!”) We went back to the casa to watch part of the game with Ash and another N.
That night we went with Dash to the Tavern (thanks for the hook up Shan!) for the game then to Volcano. If any of you have not been to Volcano, I suggest you go… that, the dirt, and poison girl are “emo” type bars, a nice change sometimes… Well Volcano is more of a Mexican voodoo interior (day of dead type stuff) with a mix of Austin type and rice village folks.
Sunday we watched more games and had lunch at Champps (with Dash in the C5, yay!) before heading back to CS… spent the night there then came back to Houston on Monday… it was nice having a day that I didn’t have to be at work at 7 am!
Well, I may miss Halloween because I have to go offshore… better than missing Vegas and Christmas though!
