lol... that sounds like i'm asking him... i'm sure he'd say no... if nothing else, then just to spare my feelings. he's my new hero. this is going to sound sooo cheesy.... but i totally cried at his recital. he's nothing short of phenomenal. i was so impressed by the air of professionalism that he exudes, and the charisma that he (and ALL the other members of the CCBQ possessed). their residency really sparked me again. it's people like them that remind all of us music majors why we're doing it. it was tremendous. any time i ever could get a chance for a lesson, or to ask questions concerning careers, or dare i say, hang out.... with any of them, i would totally jump at the opportunity.
in other news, elections were today for tbs. congratulations to all the new officers. i know you'll all do wonderfully in serving the organization.
in other other news, i'm gonna go see hellboy tonight. a perfect waste of around 10 dollars, yes. and yes, i've spent WAY too much money in the past few days on various things... mainly stuff for my major and for friends' bridal showers, but money, nonetheless. i got a new mute, a cd, and a TON of music... 'standard repetoire'... whatever. stresses me out.
another thing that stresses me out is there are only 3 weeks of school left!!! ACK!!! this means i have to pull all my shit together NOW (i.e. research paper, group presentations in all my gen ed classes, book report, school board report... PANIC!!!)
i'm hormonal. which makes me heinously bitchy. apologies to all affected. i'm going to stay in my room for awhile now.
that's the news for now.
stay tuned.
p.s. my enter key works today.
