47: LiD, again
Anybody remember that new Love is Dead layout I was talking about? Well, yesterday I decided that I already disliked it and started working on a new version (keep in mind that I'd finished the first version, coded it, and was deep into working on individual pages).
I've juuust finished the graphics for the new layout and a mock-up of it in PS. For now at least, I'm much more pleased with this new version. I'm glad I redid it. Really, I went into the first version with the idea of simplifying, and I did that, but I also went in wanting to use too many "web 2.0" tricks and that kind of made me lose sight of what LiD is really about. The new version is much closer to what it should be, I think--something that incorporates the styles of both Dali and Sugar Forkful, but is an entity to itself on a larger level. Anyway, I took a screenshot if anyone cares:
