xxxHOLiC Chapter 135 translation
Hello everyone, sorry for not answering comments and for the lack of updates lately. Exams have started for me this week - actually I went through 4 of them in the last 3 days >.O - and now I kinda feel like dying. Can't blame myself, actually. D:
Since my next week will look pretty much the same, please don't expect much online activity in the following few days. However, feel free to use the comments for discussion as always. :)

This chapter seemed like a blantant filler for me, likely because TRC has to catch up before we can move on with the plot. So this time our short moralictic story is about Kohane-chan, ghosts and peer pressure in our opinions. :)

Himawari: What a strange dream!
Wata: I know!
Himawari: What Doumeki-kun's grandfather said was somewhat mysterious too.
Doumeki: He's philosophical like that. (1)
Wata: Also, why does Haruka-san always disappear during the dream?
Doumeki: Because he's grandfather.
(Wata: Really, what kind of person is he, Haruka-san...)
Himawari: That reminds me... that girl with the spiritual ability was on TV a short while ago.
Wata: Kohane-chan?

Himawari: Yes. But there were other people who were called mediums as well.
Six altogether.
They went to a building where no one lived anymore,
and was rumored to be haunted by a ghost.
They called it "spirit-viewing".
Wata: No matter what kind of spirits, those guys saw them?
Himawari: Right.
The host of the show kept asking, "What type of spirit is the one here"?

Himawari: All the mediums except for Kohane-chan,
said that it's a spirit of a man who died during the war.
But only Kohane-chan...
Kohane: No. There are two of them.

Himawari: Only her answer was different.
Somehow it became one vs. five.
All the other mediums acted as if Kohane-chan was telling a lie.
But even so, Kohane-chan didn't change her opinion. The show ended like this.

Himawari: During the TV show, she didn't even change her attitude once.
But even if it didn't show, I thought that she wasn't feeling fine.
Wata: Really...
Yuuko: "There are two ghosts in this building...
One is a woman, who commited suicide here 20 years ago."

Yuuko: ... was what Kohane-chan said, right?
Wata: How do you know that?
Has Yuuko-san seen that show as well?
Yuuko: No. But I still know.
Because that's the truth.
Wata: Then why did the answers differ?
Did the other mediums lie?
Yuuko: There were some who did.
But the mediums collected for that show are mostly real.
So the things they saw were correct in some way.

Yuuko: The other mediums saw the ghost that appeared in the place they were standing.
But Kohane-chan...
Saw the ghost on the upper floor, where the host was pointing.
Wata: Then, up there, just like Kohane-chan said...

Yuuko: Was the ghost of a woman who commited suicide.
But she also could also see the ghost of the man who died during the war.
Right next to the host.
Wata: But why didn't Kohane-chan say so...

Yuuko: Because it would have been of no use.
The other people couldn't feel it.
Explaining things that can't be understood is pretty hard.

Yuuko: Now and then, people will deny things that they can't understand or grasp.
They frown upon things that are bad for them or don't go well with their ideal world.
Because they won't understand, they don't "understand".
But they are fine with that.

After the show, on the net for example,
A lot of awful things were said about Kohane-chan.
To the people who saw that show it really must have looked like as if Kohane-chan was lying.
