Good times, good times
And they are. Flu is over and gone and friends were crashing here for two days straight (hogging both the 'net and the beds xD) which always makes for lots of fun and bad hangovers. xD Went to a totally interesting event yesterday, a fetish/leather dress party of some sorts, since two of my friends were dance-performing there and they dragged me along. First I was all "...", but it was actually less weird than I thought! They had a victorian setting in one of the rooms, which we were really happy about since we really did fit in - my friend wore a tail-coat and I was his french-maid - and they served absinthe! ♥ :D Great party, all in all. Still, I think I had my fill of buff bald guys in leather hotpants for a while, thankyouverymuch DD:.
I also traumatized the pals with teh Bleachmyu, which resulted in various reactions of "wait, this is Japanese and not anime?", "actually this is quite cute" and "OMG, he's so hot!". xDD Results: they found Byakuya the prettiest, Renji the coolest and one of the girls is all over Aizen, asking me "will he take of his glasses?!"
I told her he will. xDDD
My Gin-squealing got me some "but-but, he's evil and slimy!" type of comments, but only because THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOOD. Sheesh. :D
AND! I finally finished the *pnish* Vol 3. downloads after what, a week?
and the Doraemon one are absolutely lollarious. I had to read up on the original Doraemon story, since you won't get it without that. Basically Doraemon is a blue robotic cat from the future who has all kinds of little gadgets and is sent to help out the biggest loser-crybaby in the world, Nobita (Himawari references Nobita once in xxxHOLiC, to Watanuki :D). Nobita has a promised bride and two guys who always bully him. I think we all can establish from this fact that Doraemon is cute and helpful and has a big big heart.
Then they gave the role to Tuti. :D

Daiki and MoriEiji are the two bullies and Wasshi is Shizuka, the bride (xD) and they turn the whole story upside down by making Doraemon this total bastard who kills off the birds in the birdhouse, sleeps with Nobita's fiancee (then Daiki beats him up xDD) and pretends to go back to the future, but in truth he runs off in his pretty car and picks up the little sister of one of the other characters. MoriEiji One of the bullies marries Wasshi Shizuka (in a hillarious scene). Nobita is TRAUMATIZED FOREVER. :DDDD
I died laughing.
AND I FOUND THE MOST AWESOMESAUCE THING. It's the 2005 version of the Haru Ichiban song! <3 I got to admit, that I even found the horribly-70s!Candies version catchy too, but this one is just GREAT.
