If you were convinced that Yagyuu's actually the more rotten apple between the two of them, here you have it. Niou admits it too on the next page: "You're a bigger trickster than me."
It was a Switch without an actual Switch. ♥
I was really hoping for some twist in this game and I'm pretty much satisfied. We knew one of them had to lose, but setting the situation up in a way we couldn't be certain of who it will be until the very last moment - that was brill. Also, Petenshi, still going strong. :D
Randomly, while the myu's Petenshi da? song is about Niou and thus should be interpreted in the singular, in my head it always translates to the plural. :) Like: "with a technique beyond human reason / we will make a fool out of you / we're the illusionists~" But we already knew that's pretty valid. :D
