A project
The St. Louis writer's meet-up group is publishing an anthology. I have just signed up to submit a piece for it. This gives me a deadline, a goal, and a severe case of performance anxiety. The last anthology gained reviews in local media, as well as real writer perks like readings and signings.
The pieces must include St. Louis people, places, or history. Not sure how far I can push the envelope with alternative lifestyle, religion, or sexuality. We shall see. Perhaps I should actually attend a meeting to get a feel for the group's sensibilities.
