I had a great idea for this week's lecture, but I don't think I'm going to pull it off. I thought I could get a whole heap of bits of movies where they do weird stuff with computers. You know, Scotty from Star trek talking to a mac and then tapping a few keys to create a new compound, uploading a virus from a mac computer to an alien space ship in Independence day. I've found clips of those, but I'm sure there were more. I've got one or stills from Chuck (again a mac doing something really incredible), but I can't seem to even find any of the movies that I know have stoopy uses of computers.

Oh, I did find a bit with Tom Cruise using the impressive gestural interface in Minority report, but I know there's more. My search fu has let me down.
