Fringe: 1.20

Had to get my thoughts out there ... into the ether. What an awesome season finale!

Appropriate episode title.

What the hell happened to Jones?? He appeared augmented. Wonder what made him so speshul. His death could have been done better, though. Boring and predictable.

Nina Sharp. So many questions still surround her.

Haha, so Charlie is beginning to slightly come around to the weirdness crimes they investigate.

I guessed, and was right, that it was Peter's grave Walter was visiting. Proof were his comments to Peter, regarding crossing over into the other reality to bring back 'what' was unfairly taken from him. Definitely makes sense why Peter seems so aloof and doesn't remember too much of his childhood with his father.

Finally, an answer to why all those pretty blue lens flares kept occurring.

The last 30 seconds of the episode were positively brilliant. William Bell's reveal was awesome. What's he really doing in that alternate reality? What's his purpose? Is there another Walter there, and what kind of a man is he, especially after his own son was taken?

Was expecting Nimoy but not the final shot: The ep's jaw-dropping moment had to have been the camera panning out to reveal that Bell and Olivia were inside one of the Twin Towers.

Suddenly, fall seems so far away :/

ETA: SCREENCAPS! of the Twin Towers and the newspaper seen on Bell's desk. I'm blown away by the headline: "Former Pres. Kennedy to Address UN". Is that you, JFK?! Someone posited that 9/11 might have still occurred but The White House may have been targeted instead, hence The NY Post's main headline. Wow.
