A Doggy Week

Dec 15, 2014 14:58

Last week was mostly taken up with two Agility group Christmas parties, one for the dogs, and one for the people.

The dog one is the end of year competition and prize giving. Draco did very well in the Open Jumping competition (and ended up 15th) and even better in the Knockout competition (keep going round the course until you either make a mistake or 60 seconds is up) He made it twice round with no mistakes and came 7th (the winner went round three times - bluddy collies!) We draw a veil over the Trios and make a note to run last in future relay competitions.

Bren, poor boy, was completely overwhelmed with the noise and so many other dogs, and eventually had to go and lie down in the car. But he did get a packet of special treats for later.

The 'people party' on Saturday included Silly Games and delicious food. Desperate fun.

And I have crocheted two more gift bags and am waiting for a batch of Christmas tree biscuits to cool down ready to decorate (I got the cutters in the post-Christmas sale last year so this is their first outing.)

Have also topped up my mobile phone with another £10 which will see me through the next 3 months.
