More on TV - Credit Squeezing

Dec 12, 2011 10:06

Rootling around the 'net in pursuit of more info about the rest of the Missing Believed Wiped event I was reminded (in the Mausoleum Club forum) of the current poll by Equity about credit squeezing.

It occurs to me that a few of my f-list might also be interested - link to poll and background here. (Being Equity they're only interested in actor credits - but as a long-time technical credit junkie I may make some comments on that aspect too.)

ETA: I should remember to check out the Mausoleum more frequently - Network DVD released one of my favourite kids series, The Tyrant King from 1968 in October - and ceased stocking it in November - so now I have had to pay through the nose for a copy. Still, well worth it - this is a series I remember fondly in black & white and am astonished to find that it was made in colour (yes in 1968). Kids adventure show. For ITV. Filmed on location (which is presumably why it didn't get swept up in the videotape wipe frenzy of the 70s), and with a soundtrack including Pink Floyd and The Nice. Oh yes, and written by Trevor (Ace of Wands) Preston.

So that's my Christmas present to me sorted.

Now only need Strange Concealements.
