Excitement at Oxford Circus

So there I was this morning, in the tunnel between the Central Line and Victoria line when they started making an announcement about "Will Controller Smith* please come to the incident centre" - clearly an incident code because I was at the bottom of the stairs when they ordered customers to leave the station, and announced that trains weren't stopping. Got to the street and was on a 73 bus when three fire engines raced past and pulled up outside the station and disgorged hundreds of firemen (be still my beathing heart).

Nothing on the TFL website, so presumably a false alarm, or a manageable electric fire.
