Note from the vet that most of the cats are due their jabs this month - and from the insurance company noting the excess on Elli's latest claims. Also lots of mail offering me things like free bus passes and pensioners offers on heating appliances - clearly spammers don't allow for people who retire being under state pension age.
Tarot
I remembered to do the monthly tarot reading last night - using a new pack always means that there's going to be a bias towards one suit (or major arcana) so I wasn't surprised to get this.
Past: Seven of Cups - The Dragon Tarot emphasises the link to the elements, so 7 cups and water might well have something to do with our success in hitting the waggon last month (!) More likely to be the standard reading of being offered options, and opportunity (I'll reserve judgement on the 'wishful thinking' bit until the retirement pay is in the bank.)
Present: Four of Wands - my signature suit, and 'fire' (only to be expected entering Aries) plus lots of stuff about working with colleagues and freedom, celebration, work perfected (I wish!). I suppose I'd better set a date for a drink at the pub...
Future Five of Wands - bit of a bummer that - strife, problems, disturbance, hassles - just what I don't need (but expect - I haven't done nearly enough work on the finances - I should relly have gone for that ISA...)
The Dragon Tarot are nice cards, but I'm beginning to think that last month's Enchanted T might be more temperamentaly suited at the moment.
