Probably...

this is probably a bunch of babble to you kids, since you don't post on the same forums I do, but I'm going to rant anyway. :)

If the rule states "if you are suspended, having someone post messages for you will result in you being banned and your friend being suspended.", that's what it states.

TFE got suspended for getting too many warnings, and then got banned because he had a friend post an AIM conversation for him, which resulted in TFE being banned. I don't care if you think he was the most influential person in the Color, or anywhere on the site, really. I don't care if his post count was 348230948234 million. I don't care if he's on his deathbed dying of cancer. He still broke the rules, and he still has to face the punishment. If you don't like it, too bad for you. That's the way it is, and you are in no position to change it. If you disagree with the rule, bring it up on another thread in a mature, respectful manner; not this "OMG THIS IS SUCH FUCKING BULLSHIT THE MODS ARE SUCH FAGS OMGOMGOMG".  No one is going to take you seriously if you conduct yourself in such a manner. The mods don't play favorites--if you do something wrong, you get warned. It really doesn't matter if you're one of the mods' siblings, you still face the same punishment. Sometimes what you say may be borderline warning, but the mods will decide. Backseat modding isn't tolerated, you all know that. just because three of the backseat modding posts were combined into one warning doesn't mean he shouldn't have been suspended--he was still well over the limit for a suspension.

It's the internet, kids, now  go outside and play. :)
