Hello exhaustion.
Over 10 hours at the hospital today. I smell like hospital, look like hospital, and am currently breathing in hospital, even though I am sitting at my desk at home.
Information overload. What a crazy shift.
Dressing change disaster + near insulin documentation error + fevers + crazy blood clots + foul smelling purulent drainage + sediment in urine + perianal fistula swab + wound irrigation + large BMs + colostomy + "make me a salmon sandwich" (??) + no blood for blood glucose + failed sterile technique + manic charting = DONE FOR THE DAY.
Take 2 tomorrow.
