Finally.

Between reading so I can fairly vote for The New Library awards and overall life, I haven't had much time for anything else. However, after two weeks of writing (off and on, thanks to some extreme laziness on my part), I have FINALLY finished the next chapter of Broken. Yay!

Words can't express just how excited I am. It didn't end exactly how I had ( Read more... )

That would be a hard shift, especially given everything that's happened between them in the past. Lol. Draco probably is the better person for her. Lol. I'm glad you still love it, though. Thanks!

I'm not too much of a fan of Ron/Hermione, but I'm okay with Harry/Ginny...sometimes. I think I haven't completely decided what to do for them in this story, but it is safe to say that I may do something I've never done regarding Harry and Ginny, lol. Tons to do in a little time :) I'm determined to have this story done by no later than September 30th. We'll see.

Haha, yeah, I am, I've never taken so long to write a story...I mean, granted I've only written 3 multi-chaptered stories and 1 one-shot, but the point is, I'm usually finished with them. This story, apparently, has taken a life of its own. As far as inspiration goes, I'd read some fiction...or some novels, take some time, maybe watch a movie, but don't think about the story for a couple of days and give your mind a break (I had to do this after writing the Ron/Hermione/Harry confrontation scene...*shudders*). And then try it again ( ... )

haha! Broken was only supposed to be 19 chapters...right now, it's looking like it'll be closer to 30. Why, god, why? I always, ALWAYS plan things out. It makes it easier for me to write. Of course, that plan has changed about 20 times, lol, but it's still the plan.

That was the craziest confrontation that I've ever written...honestly. I didn't type another word for a day or two after I finished it. I'm glad people liked it because I was so drained from it. I really don't like confrontation. I avoid it whenever I can.

Lol. They work, lol, give them a shot if you don't like Harry/Ginny

Yeah, 19, it's the chapter length of my longest story, Ordinary People. It's funny how stories just grow on their own. Yeah, apparently, I don't believe in 2 paragraph confrontations, lol. The next one for the next chapter (the one between Ginny/Harry/Hermione)...guess how many pages it is? It's mostly dialogue at this point, I haven't added actions and thoughts yet, but take a stab at how long it is in pages. Lol.

Outside of writing about being grass in high school, I never wrote anything. So, at this point, I only write HP stories. I haven't found another fandom that I like enough to be inspired by...and I haven't quite worked out a story line for an original book.

Thanks, I'm editing the second half of the argument now, lol. Its going faster (and better) than I anticipated. I've never been into Naruto or anything along those lines, so its always been HP for me. I haven't written anything for Twilight...mainly because I haven't read the books (shhh!). I only started writing fan fiction to hone my own writing skills, lol, and to say that I could complete something.

Haha, yes you can safely say that there will be an update sooner than I thought. I think the same thing applies to HP stories. There are a lot of them that are crap...but at the same time, there are a lot of great ones. I think I have a new appreciation for writing. It's really fun building stories and plots and awards are fun too. There are so many cool writers in the Dramione ship, and it's really cool connecting with others over a book. I think that even if I write my own story, I'll still write fanfiction. It's just too fun. 90% done with the chapter...and it's started to rain. I always write best when it rains...
