Lost in the City Lights Chapter 8
'Damn it! I don't know what to do,' Ina thought to herself as she crumbled yet another piece of paper. Ina called Daiki earlier saying that she'll enter the talent show with him. She decided to write a song for both of them to sing but Ina is having the worst writing block she has ever had. She has the music but no lyrics. To Ina writing lyrics is usually the easiest thing to do when creating a song. "I want this to be really good. Better than the others," she said to herself looking at her notebooks filled with songs and music sheets. "Ina! Your friend Yabu is here," Ina's mother yelled from downstairs. "Okay mom," Ina yelled back grabbing her history notebook, library book, and accidentally her songbooks, then running downstairs. "Hey Yabu-chan did you get everything," Ina asked as she put her stuff in her backpack. "Hai let's get going. The others are waiting for us at the cafe`," Kota said. "Hai," Ina said. After that Kota and Ina walked to the cafe` where Kei and Keito are waiting for them

"So now all we need to work on is the 5 page paper and diorama deshou," Kei asks. "Hai, now let's get to work," Kota and Keito replied. Kei and Ina reply with a nod as all four of them get out their notebooks and pencils. Ina opened her notebook on top and noticed it was one of her songbooks.''Kuso, Ina cursed to herself noticing that she accidentally brought once of her songbooks. "What's that Ina-chan," Keito asked noticing the music notes on the page. "It's one of my songbooks. I must of accidentally brought it when I was getting my history notebooks," Ina replied closing the songbook. "Sou ka," Keito, Kota, and Kei said. "Hai," Ina said grabbing another one of her notebooks. She opens it and sees that it's another songbook. "This is not happening," Ina muttered to herself as she grabs her third notebook and sees nothing but history notes inside. She sighed in relief upon seeing nothing but the notes from her research. As everyone was writing Ina was stressing out on the inside. The talent show is coming up and she has no song written.

Once Ina, Kota, Keito, and Kei were done writing and making the diorama the four of them went home. Kota who also lived near Ina was walking home with her. He noticed the troubled expression on Ina's face as they were walking. "Ina-chan daijobou," Kota asked. Ina looked at Kota and said, "I'm having the worst writers block ever. Daiki-san and I are entering the talent show coming up and I had this idea of writing a song. I already have the music written, demo I can't think of any lyrics." "Sou ka. If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been writing music," Kota asked curious. "A couple years. It has become a hobby of mine," Ina replied. "Do you mind if I help you? I may be able to help with your writers block," Kota said. "Arigatou," Ina said smiling. Kota and Ina then went to Ina's house to work on the song.
