Ash Wednesday..
Two things:
1. I had enough time this year to go to mass at noon. After 5 years, this is the year that I was furtunate enough to have time to go to mass on Ash Wednesday...what a shame.I am glad. I found interesting that while I carried the cross on my forehead people just kept starring as if I had a third eye or something. This is something so normal in my country (90% catholic), but here its quite a novelty. My manager is from the south and he couldn't avoid asking about it.
2. I have realized that the only things I am getting in the mail are either bills or advertisement. Now, is it that I am unconciously waiting for something?...I run to the mail box expecting to be surprised with something other than more of the same... day after day. The worse thing is that I know that nothing else has to arrive. I think I have found the solution though. Once I save a little money, I will start buy merchandise from the internet more frequently, so I will guarantee the arrival something expected.. more conciuously than uncounciously. I even know what I will order, my birthday present...La Fania all Stars 6 volume collection..one by one. That will really make me happy...hehe
