1. The safety of all my family, relatives and loved ones during the big typhoon.
2. The ability to help those who lost so much.
3. The new home that is allowing us to take care of each other as a family together, not just our kids but everyone we love.
4. Michelle's safe and quick delivery and her beautiful healthy baby boy.
5. Our new baby on the way, and the relatively easier pregnancy I'm having.
6. My wonderful husband who loves me and takes care of all of us so well and all the opportunities coming his way.
7. Lovely Lia who is the smartest funniest fairy princess unicorn with pink securities (sequins).
8. Darling Desi who gives the sweetest hugs and kisses and loves bananas and the letter O.
9. Yayas, househelp and drivers we can trust and rely on.
10. Lots and lots of chickens. And more chickens to come.
11. Loving and supportive parents who are honest in their admonition and even more generous in their praise. (not to mention the steady supply of fancy cheese)
12. Siblings who remind me of the me that I've always been, despite all the new mes I am being now.
13. Single girlfriends to watch chick flicks with and allow me to be fun and not be mommy 24/7.
14. Mommy friends who relate with my struggles and share their wisdom.
15. Couple friends whom Mike and I can be a couple with.
16. Being friends with my husband's friends.
17. Hot showers, cable and Internet.
18. The schools (past and present) that Lia enjoys and learns a lot from. And all the teachers who love her.
19. 4 living grandparents I get to see every week.
20. New and borrowed books, read and unread.
21. My iPhone.
22. Parks and playgrounds my children can safely walk to and play in.
23. Twitter and Facebook. And the one or two people who still bother to read this blog.
24. Baguio, Clark, Macau, Singapore and the Great Bicol Road Trip.
25. Desi's (and Mike's and Michelle's) big, fun, old school 1st birthday party that had no magician but had beer and lots and lots of friends.
26. That Mike always comes home safely from all his trips.
27. Fruits, vegetables, vitamins and chocolate. Oh! And tuna. And skyflakes. And kiamuy red.
28. Fake Ikea in Makati, the happiest place on earth.
29. Photography classes and the DSLR.
30. God's clear hand in the changes and challenges our family faced during the year.
