If you don't watch Avatar, you won't know what I'm talking about.

Which means the only people who will know what I'm talking about (who read my blog) are Carlo, my brother and Ia, my sister. And of course Mike, my husband, but he'll already know what I'm going to say because he's part of the story. Yes, Avatar is a family pastime.

AVATAR IS DONE! After many many months and months of waiting and waiting and waaaiiiitttiiinnngggg....

We finished downloading the giant 4-episode-in-one file last Sunday and yesterday, it was literally all I did. From the minute I finished my morning chores, I watched from The Invasion all the way to the end. Because I have EQ, I didn't watch the episodes after the Invasion, even if we already had all those files in our computer, until the entire thing was finished because I hate being bitin more than I hate waiting.

And Mike came home at around 4:30 pm to find an unshowered wife watching part 3 of the finale. Which was just after the part he had already seen (first thing he did when he woke up was watch one episode of the 4-episode mega-episode). So I took a shower while he watched the second episode, and then (bad, but sorry, true) we sent our daughters to their yayas so we can watch episodes 3 and 4 together without having to keep half an eye on whether Lia had jumped out the window or Desi had dismantled the TV.

And now it's over, and all we can do is READ ABOUT WHAT WE HAD JUST WATCHED ON WIKIA. Pathetic geeks that we are. Ang ganda! But I can't believe it's over. It can't be! There will be Avatar movies daw in a couple of years. I wonder if it's true?

Speaking of movies, Batman: The Dark Knight was amazing! Ang galing ni Joker. I swear, I will not, never ever ever live in Gotham City. It's too scary if there's a Joker on the loose. I used to think OA naman, Heath Ledger up for a posthumous Oscar for his portrayal? Really? That good? Yes. That. Good.

Oh! And if you don't watch Avatar and you read all the way up to the end, here's something that will make it worth your while. Especially if you're around my age and grew up on these cartoon shows.
