Heh. I could ask you the same questions I've been asking other people, but you've already told me the answers. Repeatedly. "Why do you pilot Gundam?" "Why are you in the GDF?" You're so open with your feelings that it's not a mystery to me at all.
But when I ask myself these questions...

If you lack your reasons, Tieria, then the solution should be simple: fight until you find them. Search for your purpose, as I have done.
I will tell you this much, if it helps... even I am still unsure if I have found mine yet. So you see, in fighting together, we will help each other discover our reasons.

I see... alright. I only asked because I think that most believe it's silly, but to me... it really isn't.
Think about everything that Gundam represents, Tieria. On the surface, a Gundam is a weapon. Some believe that this a bad thing, but that's not necessarily true. Anything can be a weapon - words, ideologies, beliefs - and while the intention behind all of these can be evil, they can also be good. So, now you understand that a weapon in itself is not evil, but it is dependent on the person wielding it.
Think beyond the basic label of weapon now. What does the weapon itself achieve? Death, but also life. War, but also peace. Oppression, but also justice. I used to believe that Gundam was a tool only for righteousness, but in reality, it is a double-edged sword. Truly, Gundam can be all of these things, but what I want to become is the keener side of that sword ( ... )

But it sounded very nice.

I thought as much. But, if not a Gundam, Tieria, you should think of something, or someone you would like to become... or maybe you're just fine being yourself. Regardless, it's a goal to aspire to. It's not Gundam that's important. It's what it represents.

Thank you, Setsuna. You've been a big help.
There is one other thing I wanted to talk to you about though...

Do you happen to know anything about this, Setsuna?

Ah... what a strange coincidence that is, don't you think? I don't find it all that surprising. The sleek design of the unit lends itself quite nicely to model form, the colors are vibrant, it has plenty of accessories that could be marketed...
-Setsuna continues to prattle on unabashedly. He seems completely unaware that he has given himself away.-

Also sleek design? With all that junk we had to pile on the shoulders to make it work? Hardly.

-Yes, Setsuna seriously still believes that Tieria won't see through him now. Good luck trying to pry an outright confession out of him.-
