[23:14] * Keaton is very calm. He pulls a gun from the small of his back and checks it.
[23:15] * Will_Rue inhales, removing a gun of his own.
[23:15] * octopus uses his PINpoint to bring up a list of all adjacent units, searching for any that were not in the yard.
[23:16] * Jeff_Levitt sees the gun and swallows. Oh shit, this is for real, isn't it.
[23:16] * Edgeworth[hasagun] appears, and.. looks around. Okay... Noticing Keaton checking his gun, he reaches for his own and removes it.
[23:16] Will_Rue: *There are no new PINpoints in the general area... but there is one a little ways down the tunnel, a dozen meters away or so*
[23:17] * Nick_Wright PINs in as well, looking around. Calculating.

[23:18] Will_Rue: [The new guard.]
[23:18] * Keaton readies his gun. He doesn't know how Otto know's this but he trusts it.
[23:18] * Evan[spirit] is sticking near Nick and looking around.
[23:18] Will_Rue: [I should act quickly, but... it doesn't hurt to see what these guys can do, first. What's one? Right.]
[23:18] *Jeff_Levitt waits for someone else to lead the way. He's unarmed.
[23:18] * octopus does a visual scan of the area- unfortunately, the PINpoint lacks a radar screen.
[23:19] Nick_Wright: All right, Evan, we're counting on you.
[23:19] * Wilson is indeed Adam's replacement. Unfortunately, he's also on the way to where they need to go.
[23:19] * Evan[spirit] nods. "Should I lead now? That guy says someone's here..."

[23:19] * Wilson isn't quite visible by the eye. He's around a corner.

[23:20] octopus: Be on your guard, everyone. *with a vague creaking noise, a set of robotic arms emerge from beneath the doctor's coat, hovering around him.*
[23:20] * Will_Rue is the picture of calm, though he hardly feels it.
[23:20] * Evan[spirit] starts off in the direction the person is! He'll walk a little ahead of the group. He can't die after all.
[23:21] * Jeff_Levitt follows a bit behind the others.
[23:21] * Wilson is a tall blond, nearly grey. He's in his early 40s perhaps, and he has a gun.
[23:22] * Evan[spirit] spots the guy. He boldly moves closer to see. Then he returns. "There's a guy with a gun down here." He points.
[23:22] Nick_Wright: ! *whispers to the others* Guy with a gun, down that way guys...
[23:22] * Wilson is oblivious, though he shivers a bit.
[23:22] * Jeff_Levitt gulps, but nods, looking more alert.
[23:23] * Batman_II draws a boomerang and holds it in one hand.
[23:23] * Keaton has both hands on his gun. He's waiting to see what move the other's make.
[23:24] * Will_Rue has his hands on the gun, but doesn't have it raised.
[23:24] * Edgeworth[hasagun] is going to pick up the pace a bit, so he's walking closer to Nick. And he'll nudge him with his elbow. He's removed a piece of paper with his free hand, and is making it glow blue, for those who can tell. Otherwise, it's just a normal piece of paper.
[23:24] octopus: ..... *one of the actuators notices Terry's movement, and Ock decides to hold back and let him take the guy out non-fatally, and from a distance.*
[23:24] * Nick_Wright blinks and looks over at Edgeworth questioningly.
[23:24] * Edgeworth[hasagun] hands him the paper. Or rather, sort of shoves it on him. "Keep this on you."
[23:25] Nick_Wright: *quietly* Eh? What... does it do?
[23:25] * Evan[spirit] moves back down near the flunkie. He doesn't want to wander /too/ far from the group. He has the strangest urge to poke the guy in the nose or something.
[23:25] * Edgeworth[hasagun] looks ahead and readies his gun. "I'll tell you later."
[23:25] * Wilson ... hears something.
[23:25] * Wilson stops.
[23:25] * Nick_Wright blinks.
[23:25] * Nick_Wright does take it, though, putting it into his pocket.
[23:25] * Batman_II looks at Otto again -- waiting for a signal one way or the other.
[23:25] * Wilson turns around and looks behind him. Can he see anyone from up here?
[23:25] * Keaton grits his teeth. Someone do /something/.
[23:26] * Edgeworth[hasagun] probably won't, but oh, the joys of evading topics. He's waiting for a signal, too, looking towards Otto.
[23:26] * octopus gestures to Batman.
[23:26] * Nick_Wright is hanging back. He's gonna let the folks who know what they're doing in situations like this handle it.

[23:26] * Batman_II nods, dashes to get in range of Wilson, then turns on the invisibility so that he has time to aim properly.
[23:27] * Evan[spirit] watches this :O. He backs out of the way out of habit.
[23:28] * Keaton doesn't see why they couldn't just kill him B|
[23:29] * Edgeworth[hasagun] is ready but isn't going to do anything unless he's told to. He hates waiting though. >>
[23:31] * Batman_II aims the shot to disable Wilson's gun hand -- obviously it's one of the non-explosive weapons, but it's still capable of doing some damage.
[23:32] * Wilson_ yelps, dropping the gun and drawing his hand reflexively back... and then SHIT.

[23:32] * Wilson_ dives to pick up the gun again.
[23:32] * Evan[spirit] flails a little OHGOD
[23:33] * Wilson_ is seemingly oblivious to the fact his hand is bleeding like crazy. He needs to get the GUN.
[23:33] * Batman_II drops the invisibilty and jumps in to punch the guy in the face. Hoping everyone else gets the idea.
[23:33] * octopus watches and waits, letting Batman handle the guy.
[23:33] * Nick_Wright does as well.
[23:33] * Jeff_Levitt stays out of the way as much as possible.
[23:33] * Keaton thinks this is ridiculous -_- he stays out of the way so that there isn't people /colliding/ just to punch the guy.
[23:34] * Wilson_ is hit. He stumbles over, nearly losing his balance. He swings to punch Batman now.
[23:34] * Will_Rue is also staying away. Maybe, maybe, he's biting his lip.
[23:34] * Evan[spirit] has to remember that he can't actually punch the guy. He just stands there and watches.
[23:35] * Batman_II takes the hit, wincing a little -- but he's been hit by much worse. He aims a punch for Wilson's stomach, putting full force into it.

[23:35] * Edgeworth[hasagun] is going to sit there and watch. And wait to shoot things that aren't too close to Batman.
[23:35] octopus: *with the video feed in his upper two actuators, Ock can see in three directions at once, and is taking advantage of this to ensure that no-one comes up at them from behind.*
[23:35] * Wilson_ has got the wind knocked out of him. He stumbles over backwards, hitting the ground with a THUMP.

[23:36] * Wilson_ wheezes, fumbling for the gun again.
[23:36] * Batman_II aims to put his foot on the gun and use the other leg to kick Wilson.
[23:37] * Wilson_ -does- grab at the gun, and it goes off with a BANG. It doesn't hit anyone, though. It wasn't aiming, and it's half pointed at the ground. He does get kicked though, and he grimaces.
[23:37] * Jeff_Levitt yelps as the gun goes off.
[23:37] * Keaton flinches the slightest bit.
[23:38] * Evan[spirit] also flinches despite being. you know. Dead.
[23:38] * Edgeworth[hasagun] flinches... sorta. But he's used to guns being shot off so he's not that bothered by it.
[23:38] * Nick_Wright flinches and curls in a bit.
[23:38] * Batman_II isn't bugged much by gun shots -- just by the fact that this guy doesn't know when to quit. Will a sharp blow upside the head fix that?

[23:39] * Rue turns suddenly, pointing his gun at Nick.

[23:39] * Keaton turns and looks at Rue. /Fuck/. He freezes.

[23:40] * Batman_II pauses in beating up Wilson. Keeps one eye on the guy just in case, but turns the other toward Rue.

[23:43] * Rue wheels around, shooting at Edgeworth.

[23:43] * octopus makes a surprised noise as he falls to the ground, head thrown back at an odd angle.
[23:44] Nick_Wright: Otto! Edgeworth!
[23:44] * Edgeworth[hasagun] hits the dirt hard. Ow.

[23:44] * Keaton fires a shot off at Rue. Fuck that.

[23:44] * octopus 's sunglasses go flying in several pieces as the rest of him lands noisily, actuators twitching and rattling against the concrete.

[23:45] * Edgeworth[hasagun] will shoot, too. Hey, 'Soze' shot first. >> Of course he's now hiding behind something, if there's something there to hide behind.
[23:45] * Nick_Wright gets up, looking for something to chuck at this guy while he's distracted.
[23:45] * Rue is hit. He drops to the ground... though he's wearing a bullet proof vest, it still knocks the wind out of him.
[23:45] * Batman_II figures it's time to focus on the guy who's a bigger threat. Aims one last kick at Wilson's head, just to be sure.
[23:45] * Rue briefly debates whether or not playing dead is really an option here.
[23:46] * Wilson_ is unconscious!
[23:46] octopus: ...... *laying facedown, the source of Otto's injury is not immediately apparent, but he seems to be bleeding... from the head?*
[23:47] * Rue is playing dead, actually. Very slowly, he's moving for his PINpoint.
[23:47] * Batman_II isn't buying it from either of them, waits to see who's checking who but will investigate Wilson if someone tends to Otto and Rue.
[23:47] * Nick_Wright is gonna go over and kick gun from Rue if possible.
[23:47] * Keaton moves towards Rue, gun trained on him.
[23:47] * Jeff_Levitt is tending to Otto.
[23:48] * Rue has got another gun in his pocket.
[23:48] * Edgeworth[hasagun] gets up and will approach too, sort of offering Keaton backup.
[23:48] * Batman_II will check Wilson, then, but still try and pay attention to everything else.

[23:49] * Nick_Wright kicks (the visible) gun away?
[23:49] * Keaton reaches Rue, gun still trained. He gives the man a sharp kick to his side. Alive :D?
[23:49] * Jeff_Levitt carefully rolls Otto over, looking for the source of the bleeding. He's also digging in his bag.
[23:49] * Rue rolls quickly from his position on his ground, pulling out his other gun and pointing it at Keaton and Edgeworth.

[23:49] * Rue is still on the ground! But he has a gun pointed at you! Oh god. Oh shit.

[23:50] * Edgeworth[hasagun] narrows his eyes and keeps his gun on Rue, too.

[23:51] * Edgeworth[hasagun] looks from Rue to Keaton and then back to Rue.. and then to Nick, trying to motion to him to get the fugg out of there.

[23:51] Nick_Wright: What do you think you're doing? Did he send you in to sabotage the party?

[23:24] * Edgeworth[hasagun] is going to pick up the pace a bit, so he's walking closer to Nick. And he'll nudge him with his elbow. He's removed a piece of paper with his free hand, and is making it glow blue, for those who can tell. Otherwise, it's just a normal piece of paper.
