it wasn't a spectacular trip, given how short it was, how ill-prepared we were and how relaxed we wanted it to be; but it was good. like you said, mutedly good, and i was mutedly happy, too. we did our usuals, made up our usual stories, and i was comfortable, familiar and secure (except for that lifetime of a half hour spent squirming about all tense and in a panic on the bus).
thanks for your wu ke qu dai de company, my kkml. though i still think danny should have stopped us by a petrol station. and that the bus driver shouldn't have kept whistling. :)
