Our Day of Thanksgiving was good. I celebrated it amongst family had an all-around good time.
I made some cornbread and beer bread, which both came out fabulously (the first time I tried to make them, they came out salty because of my careless measurements). Plus, in my increasingly-traditional manner, I made some green bean casserole. It was divine--all of it.
I've avoided the stores like the plague so far (and with all the deaths going around, all the better).
My brother showed up dressed up rather spiffy, so I had to make sure that I was just as snazzy.
Behold, the dapper J-Bros.
{I'm not too keen on how my expression looks in this one, but as you can see, I am wearing a tie--which I never do. Not pictured: black pinstriped pants and dress shoes.}
{And me all by myself. I'm not entirely unfortunate-looking, I think.}
