Tonight I am the drug you can't deny

Halloween was pretty good, but it definitely could've stood to have been better.

My Mr. Howell costume at work was definitely I'll received--by my own volition. Apparently a captain's hat immediately equates to The Skipper in everyone else's mind. Hello? Snooty country club yachtman's outfit? Any takers? No? Fine. It was also very uncomfortable and in retrospect, I should've just worn my Dionysus one the whole day.

As for the evening's festivities, we got a late start. Too many last minute costume malfunctions and a general tardiness in getting all together led to some hurriedness and a bit of tension with the group.

We had a few additions to our pantheon--Miranda's boo Harvey was dressed as Hephaestus and I dubbed Kathy's new girl Anna as our official Artemis.

Because of an hour-long detour, we lost a few people early on. Also, it was mighty hard to get in to places, as it was packed everywhere.

Luckily, we ended up at Club Congress. While it was normally $12 to get in, we were able to get in for free by Cheyenne's daughter Rose.

Anyway, it turned out pretty alright, despite the early hang-ups.

Today I had some sushi with everyone and some seviche at home. Tomorrow I start a really stringent diet. Hopefully I can last it out.

Halloween pictures coming as soon as I can pester my friends to upload them.
