Oy... This weekend I outdid myself. While I normally strive to better myself, this is not something I had even striven to surpass nor do I want to ever go beyond the level I had achieved this weekend.
That record, kiddies, is my drunkeness threshold.
Saturday night, Devon, Chris, Mikey and I went to Miranda's house for some impromptu grilling and margarita-ing in her back yard. With us, we brought a 20lb bag of ice expressly used for making margaritas. I think I had about four or five plastic party cups' worth of those (and believe me, Randix is definitely not stingy with the alcohol), another two or three vodka cranberries (same volume), a bottle of Coronita and a Miller Amber Bock.
While that made for a very fun and very guilt free evening of merriment, I had the severe displeasure of being jarred awake the following morning before sunrise with a massive headache. Like, severely massive. I thought I would die, massive.
Anyway, once I finished warding off the throes of death, I meandered back over to Devon's couch (as I had stayed there last night, and slept fitfully and drenched the couch in my sweat) and fell back asleep, sitting up. Ironically, this was a lot more comfortable and conducive to alleviating me of the horrors of my hangover.
Actually, as I type about it now, I can feel a dull throb in my head. I pray it's not still residual hangover, but rather the pain of the insipidness from the customer's I have spoken to this morning.
Sunday was awesome--we did a trial run of our Halloween costumes. Kathy took pics and I can't wait for her to email them to me so I can post them.
