Today has been very good. I went to the career fair on campus this morning even though those things make me very nervous. I found out that I'm qualified for so many sweet jobs that I wouldn't have thought of. My favorite company I talked to was Digital Globe - they're a company in Longmont who have several imaging satellites orbiting the earth that take pictures of everything. They said that they always need space craft operators and with my math and physics background I would be perfect. I really hope they get their internship program together by summer. I've decided that I really want to do something with space when I graduate. I'm really pumped on space right now.
Then I came back to my office and there was a message on my phone from Bernard Stollman - the founder of ESP disk. Holy shit! I called him back and he wants to donate more than $2000 worth of merchandise for us to give away during our pledge drive. He's pretty nutty and kind of hard to talk to. He told me that Boulder is one of the most evolved groups of people in the country....he probably hasn't been here for a few decades.
